Pet Stain Removal Process
When a pet does the wrong thing panic can set in especially if you're house proud. A pet owner will grab a cleaner and immediately start wearing away at the problem without giving much thought to the extra damage they are doing. Removing pet stains is a process and by following the guidelines we're about to give you, you'll get much better results. And it doesn't matter what type of cleaning product you're using.
Never rub furiously on the stain. The best way to ensure you get it out and eliminate it is to start from the outside and rub your way in. This is a controlled process which gradually wears away at the problem. By rubbing back and forth you are actually spreading it out.
If you start from the inside of the stain the chances are strong that you will further increase it's area. In actual fact, you'll be spreading it out even further. Then you're left with a much bigger issue than you started with. So take your time and stay calm.
For better results, once the rubbing process has been completed and you've worked through the entire area of the stain soak a towel in warm to hot water and cover the area with it. Apply pressure to the towel with the palm of your hand and press down on it several times. You may have to do this several times until such time as you're happy you've cleaned up the affected area.
The final step is to dry off the area and this can be done with a strong fan. While it may look like the affected area still looks a little dirty this is exacerbated by the fact that you've dampened the area and it will take a little time to get back to normal. Once you master this process you'll have little difficulty in removing pet stains without the associated panic.
